The JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) Main 2013 online version will be held between 8-25 April, 2013.It will be conducted across 29 cities in India including three abroad destinations - Colombo, Kathmandu and Singapore.
On Sunday, 7th April, 2013, approximately 14 lakh engineering aspirants took the pen and paper JEE Main conducted successfully across 81 cities, including Dubai, Riyad and Muscat and Bahrain. The results will be announced on May 7.
As per sources, the JEE (Main) computer based exam (Paper 1) question paper would have objective type questions with four options as answers to every question. For each correct answer 4 marks will be awarded. There will be negative marking for incorrect answer. One fouth-marks i.e. 1 mark will deducted for every incorrect answer to a question. However, if a question is left unanswered, no marks will be deducted.
