Gurgaon: Management Development Institute (MDI), Gurgaon, will hold its annual convocation on March 22, 2013, from 4:00 pm onwards. The convocation ceremony will be organized at the Institute’s campus in Gurgaon. As per the notification issued by MDI Gurgaon, Dr Nitish K Sengupta, Chairman, Board for Reconstruction of Public Sector Enterprises will grace the event as Chief Guest.
The convocation ceremony will be started with the welcome address by Shri Atul Kumar Rai, Chairman, MDI Board of Governors. Hence after, the Director's Report on the progress and achievements of the institute during the academic year 2012-13 will be presented by Professor Mukul Gupta.
After the welcome address and Director’s Report, Dr Nitish K Sengupta will deliver the convocation address and award the medals & certificates to 564 graduates who have completed their academic programmes from the institute in the academic year 2012-13.
As per sources, around 1500 people including distinguished guests from government and corporate world, diplomatic missions, media people and family members of the graduating students will appear in the convocation ceremony.
