Jaipur: Malviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT), Jaipur, has issued the notification for Centralized Counseling for M Tech / M Plan Admission 2013, also known as CCMT. CCMT is being conducted for admission into Master of Technology (M Tech) and Master of Planning (M Plan) programmes offered at the following participating institutions of CCMT.
Programmes Offered at: MNNIT Allahabad, Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology Bhopal, MNIT Jaipur, Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology Jalandhar, Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology Nagpur, S V National Institute of Technology Surat, NIT Agartala, NIT Calicut, NIT Durgapur, NIT Hamirpur, NIT Jamshedpur, NIT Kurukshetra, NIT Patna, NIT Raipur, NIT Rourkela, NIT Silchar, NIT Srinagar, NIT Karnataka (Surathkal), NIT Trichy, NIT Warangal, IIITDM Jabalpur, SLIET Longowal and NIFFT Ranchi and several others centrally funded technical institutions.
Those who possess valid GATE score in his / her applicable category for the year 2012 or 2013 and have secured minimum CGPA of 6.0 on 10 point scale / eligibility marks of 55% are eligible to apply. Candidates belong to SC and ST categories are exempted from marks criteria.
Candidates aspiring admission into the above said programmes can apply online by visiting the official website of CCMT 2013: http://www.ccmt.in. The online application will start from April 15, 2013 and will close on May 18, 2013. an application fee of Rs 1500 (Rs 1000 for SC / ST candidates) is to be paid by the applicants through E-Challan downloadable from the abovementioned website of CCMT.
Moreover, reservation policy will be applied as per the norms prescribed by the government of India. One should download the prospectus for CCMT 2013 from the aforementioned website and read out all the instructions before filling up the application form. After filling up all the details, candidates have to submit the online application form.
If, candidates want to change choice of college or course, they need to log in through their registered Id. Last date for choice filling and locking / automatic locking of choice is May 22, 2013.
