National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), New Delhi, has invited applications from well qualified and self motivated candidates for admission into Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) programme in Design, Management and Technology, to be offered in the ensuing session 2013.
The selection committee of NIFT will short-list candidates in the initial screening on the basis of their Research Proposal and prior educational qualifications and call them for interview. Final selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in interview, scheduled to be conducted on the belowmentioned date.

How to Apply
Interested candidates may obtain the application form and brochure from the Admission Office, National Institute of Fashion Technology, NIFT Campus, Hauz Khas, New Delhi - 110016, on payment of an application form fee of Rs 300 in the form of Demand Draft (DD) drawn on any nationalized bank in favor of NIFT, New Delhi, payable at Delhi. In addition, one can download the same from the official website of NIFT: http://www.nift.ac.in/.
Candidates will have to pay an application processing fee of Rs 2000 (Rs 1000 for SC / ST candidates) in case of purchased application form and Rs 2300 (Rs 1300 for SC / ST candidates) in case of downloaded form. The application fee can be paid in the form of DD drawn on any nationalized bank in favor of NIFT, New Delhi, payable at Delhi.
The duly filled-in application form or the hard copy of the downloaded form along with an outline of Research Proposal (in maximum 3000 words), attested copies of all requisite documents and the DD of requisite amount as mentioned above, should be sent to Director (Admissions), National Institute of Fashion Technology, NIFT Campus, Hauz Khas, New Delhi - 110016, on or before April 22, 2013.
