National Institute of Technology (NIT) Raipur has invited applications from highly qualified candidates for admission into Full time regular / Sponsored / Part time Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programme, to be offered at the belowmentioned department or centre of the institute, in the ensuing session 2013. Selection will be made on the basis of merit obtained in written examination, followed by interview, to be conducted by the institute.

How to Apply
Interested candidates may download the application form from the official website of the institute: http://www.nitrr.ac.in/. The direct link for the same is: http://www.nitrr.ac.in/downloads/admission/admission2013/phd/Advertisement.pdf. In addition, they have to pay an application fee of Rs 200 (Rs 100 for SC / ST candidates) in the form of Demand Draft (DD) drawn on any nationalized bank in favor of Director, NIT Raipur, payable at Raipur.
The duly filled-in hard copy of the downloaded application form along with the DD of requisite amount (as mentioned above) should be sent in an A4 size envelope to The Registrar, NIT Raipur, CG 492010” on or before April 22, 2013. Candidates should mention “PhD Admission for Academic Year 2013 in ______ (Name of the Department)” on the top of the envelope in which the application form is to be sent.
