Today i.e. on May 8, 2013 (Wednesday), the Sambalpur University, Orissa, has announced the results of MBA I Semester (Distance Education) examination. The examination was held in the year 2012. Established in the year 1967, Sambalpur University, Orissa, is among the premier universities of the state. The University is set up with an aim of offering high quality education across the state. Presently, the University offers several post graduate courses in 27 distinct disciplines via its various affiliated colleges and institutes spread across the state.
The educational jurisdiction of the University covers almost a total of 10 districts of the state of Odisha namely Sambalpur, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Deogarh, Bargarh, Bolangir, Subarnapur, Nawapara, Kalahandi, Boudh and Athamallik Sub-Division of Angul District. In addition, the University campus is equipped with all the modern facilities along with hostel facilities for its outstation students. There are a total of ten post-graduate hostels within the University campus, four hostels are for ladies hostels and six are for gents.
