University of Allahabad Issues PGAT 2013 Notification

University of Allahabad has invited applications from eligible candidates for Postgraduate Admission Test 2013, popularly known as PGAT. The test is being conducted by the University at all India level for admission into the below mentioned postgraduate degree programmes offered at various faculties, constituent colleges and centres of the University.

  • Master of Commerce (M Com)
  • Master of Science (M Sc)
  • Master of Technology (M Tech)

PGAT schedule is as follows:
May 13, 2013:
From 8:30 am to 11:30 am - For MA / M Mus / M Sc (excluding Anthropology & Biochemistry)
From 10:00 am to 11:30 am - For Candidate having Graduation with Honors / having Anthropology or Biochemistry at B A or B Sc Part III Level and candidates appearing in only one subject
 
May 14, 2013:
From 8:30 to 10:00 am - For M Com / M A or M Sc in Anthropology / M Sc Agriculture (Botany / Chemistry / Zoology) / M Sc Biochemistry
From 11:00 am to 12:30 pm - For M A Mass Communication
 
May 15, 2013:

How to Apply
Interested candidates may obtain the OMR registration form from the Pravesh Bhawan, Chatham Lines Campus, University of Allahabad, Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh - 211 002, by paying an application fee of Rs 600 (Rs 300 for SC / ST candidates). In addition, one can also apply online by filling and submitting the application form on the official admission website of the University: http://www.auadmisison.co.in/.
 
In case of online application, candidates have to remit the prescirbed application fee before starting the application procedure. The application fee can be paid either through Demand Draft (DD) or Bank Challan (downloadable from the website). On successful payment of fee, candidates will get a 6 digit receipt number (Application Id) which should be used in filling up the online application form. After filling up all the details, candidates are required to submit the application form online and take a print out of the same for further correspondence with the University.
 
The duly filled-in OMR application form complete in all respects as per the prescribed guidelines should be sent (by registered or speed post) or submitted (in-person) to the Director Admission, Pravesh Bhawan, Chatham Lines Campus, University of Allahabad, Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh - 211 002, on or before April 30 (upto 4:00 pm).
