University of Delhi or Delhi University (DU), Faculty of Medical Sciences has issued the notification for the Post Graduate Medical Entrance Test 2010, also known as PGMET. It is conducted for admission into the following Medical / Dental / Diploma postgraduate courses offered in the upcoming session 2010.
 
Post Graduate Degree Courses
MD: Anaesthesiology, Anatomy, Biochemistry, Community Medicine, Dermatology; Venereology & Leprosy, Forensic Medicine, General Medicine, Community Health Administration, Microbiology, Paediatrics, Pathology, Pharmacology, Physiology, Psychiatry, Pulmonary Medicine, Radio-Diagnosis and Radio-Therapy
 
 
MS: General Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics and Otorhinolaryngology
 
2. Post Graduate MDS Courses
Prosthodontics & Crown & Bridge, Periodontology, Conservative & Endodontics and Orthodontics & Dentofacial, Orthopaedics
 
3. Post Graduate Diploma Courses

How to Apply
Interested candidates can download the application form along with information from Delhi University website: www.du.ac.in. Application form along with bulletin of information brochure can also be obtained from the office of the Deputy Registrar, Faculty of Medical Sciences, 6th Floor, V.P. Chest Institute Building, University of Delhi, Delhi- 110007, in person against a cash payment of Rs 1500 for General and OBC Category candidates and Rs 1000 for SC /ST/PH Category candidates, between 9.30 am to 12.30 pm & 2:00 pm to 3.00 pm on all working days upto January 7, 2010. The same can be obtained by post from the above mentioned address by sending a postal request along with a crossed Bank Draft / Banker’s Cheque drawn on any Nationalized Bank in favor of the Registrar, University of Delhi payable at Delhi of Rs 1550 for General and OBC Category candidates and Rs 1050 for SC / ST / PH Category candidates, also with a self addressed envelope of 10 X 8 till December 29, 2009.  
 
Note:
1. Candidates are required to apply separately for MD (Community Health Administration), Diploma in Health Education (D.H.E.) and other Post-Graduate (Degree/ Diploma) courses.
 
2. The candidate should mention his / her name and address at the back of the Bank Draft/ Banker’s Cheque. The candidates are advised to retain a photocopy of the Bank Draft/ Banker’s Cheque.
