DTU Second Cut-off List for B Tech Admission Coming Up Tomorrow

Delhi Technological University (DTU)will announce the second cut-off list for admission into its B.Tech course tomorrow i.e. on July 15, 2011. The University is conducting its process of admissions through online counselling.
 
The University announced its first cut-off list for 15 BTech programme on July 5, 2011. Total of 674 candidates have been enrolled and have deposited their fees in various courses. Presently, 545 seats remain unoccupied, which will be filled in the second round of admission. Dr. O.P. Verma, Chairman, B.Tech Admission Committee, has informed that the first list of admission for Delhi (General) candidates went up to 9904 AIEEE rank, while cut-off for Outside Delhi (General) candidates for the first list was 3000.
 
Furthermore, in the second list of admission, the cut off for Delhi (General) is expected to go up to 12904, while for those aspirants outside Delhi (General) it might go up to 3281. It is quite evident that high AIEEE Rank holders from Outside Delhi are opting for DTU against 15% seats reserved for Outside Delhi. Besides, Dr Verma informed that last year AIEEE rank for Delhi (General) seats in DTU went up to 15256. However, this year, Delhi (General) might not cross the mark of 15000.
 
Selected candidates of the second list are required to report for admission at DTU on July 18 & 19, 2011. Candidates are requested to carry the original copies of the documents for verification and DD for fee and other documents as required for admission. If required, the 3rd list for admission will be announced based on the resulting vacancies, on July 22, 2011.
