DU Journalism Course Online Form Submission Commences Today

New Delhi: The online submission of from for Delhi University's (DU's) journalism course commences today, i.e. on May 23, 2011. DU will conduct Combined Journalism Entrance Test (CJET), for enrolling students, this year. Starting from today, the forms will be available online till June 5, 2011.
 
As per sources, unlike past years, all the five colleges affiliated to DU offering Journalism (H), including Delhi College of Arts and Commerce, Kalindi, Kamala Nehru, Lady Shri Ram and Maharaja Agrasen. This year, Maharaja Agrasen College will be conducting the test on June 19. The eligibility criteria for the appearing the entrance this year is that candidate must have secure a minimum of 70% in Class XII and 60% in English. 
 
It is decided that 50% weightage will be given to the entrance test score, 35% to Class XII marks and 15% to the personal interview. The C-JET 2011 result will be declared on June 29, 2011. The interviews are likely to be conducted between July 2 and 8, while the final results will be declared by July 11. The application fee can also be submitted online if the applicant has a credit or debit card. Otherwise the fee can be submitted at branches of Axis Bank, the details of which are also on the website.
 
The introduction of the online system has made the application process much easier without the tension making mistakes. In the newly introduced application process, the applicants will be provided with a log in ID and a password on registration and then be able to fill in their form. In case they make a mistake, they can log in again and made the required correction. However, one can make the correction only before the last date of submission.
