DU to Fill Up Vacant Law Seats

New Delhi: Good news for general category candidates seeking admission in LLB course in Faculty of Law, Delhi University (DU). Delhi High Court has directed DU to fill up the 50 vacant seats in Faculty of Law for LLB course. The vacant seats are available in Law Centre II of the Faculty of Law.
 
In a recent court session, the High Court has asked DU to convert 50 vacant OBC seats for LLB course to general category, as the seats were remained unoccupied under the OBC quota. In the process of filling the seats, the Faculty of Law has declared the schedule of special counseling for admissions.
 
As per sources, the process of filling up seats from candidates in the waiting list is scheduled to be held from October 18 to 21. Although the academic session has already commenced in August, but students admitted after the special counselling will be given special classes, as per the court order.
 
The special classes will be given to late admitted students in order to help them cover the syllabus in time for the first semester examinations. The first semester examinations are scheduled to be held in the month of December.
