Ahmedabad: The placement session for students of PGP at Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A) concludes with its fourth cluster on Thursday (i.e. on February 3, 2011). However, now the rolling placement will begin in order to place the remaining students.
As per sources, in the fourth cluster of the placement session, Tata Steel recruited four students, which is the highest number of students recruited by a single company for the day. In addition, a total of 16 firms from insurance, steel, energy and textile industries, amongst others, participated in cluster four. Sources say that apart from Tata Steel, firms like Aviva, Bajaj Allianz and SKNL offered posts in sales and marketing, supply chain and general management.
Furthermore, in rolling placement session, there will not be a particular day for the interview, but companies and students will have the flexibility to interact with each other according to their convenience or interest.
