Allahabad University to Scrap B Sc (Applied Science) Course from 2012

Allahabad: University of Allahabad, Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, has decided to scrap B Sc (Bachelor of Science) Applied Science course from the ensuing session 2012. As per sources, the decision has been taken by the University in result of admission failure for over the last two years as it failed to fill up the seats in the aforesaid course.
 
All candidates who are aspiring to seek admission in B Sc (Applied Science) are kindly informed not to select the course or its combination during online registration or in OMR application form. In addition, for more information regarding the cancellation of the course, one can visit the official website of the University: http://www.allduniv.ac.in/ or contact the Pravesh Bhawan.
 
B Sc (Bachelor of Science) Applied Science is an advanced programme which combines the fundamentals of science and mathematics with the concept of market oriented education. The course was introduced with the intent of producing qualified individuals but the disinterest of the students compelled the University to drop the course.
 
As per sources, even students who graduated from the University in B Sc (Applied Science) were not interested to get further enrolled in M Sc (Applied Science) course of the University. Students are advised to keep in touch with the University for any new information regarding admisison.
