Mumbai University Convocation 2011 Scheduled for January 28

Mumbai: The annual convocation of University of Mumbai, also known as Mumbai University, for the year 2011, is scheduled to be held on Saturday i.e. January 28, 2012. The convocation ceremony will be held from 11.00 am onwards at Sir Cowasjee Jehangier Hall (Convocation Hall) of the University, Fort, Mumbai - 400 032. The said programme will also be webcasted on the University’s official website: http://www.mu.ac.in/
 
The Degree / Diploma certificate of the candidates who have passed in the examinations of the first half and second half of 2011 will be sent to their respective colleges from where they had graduated and the distribution of the same will be done from their colleges. However, the Degree and Diploma certificates of the candidates who have passed their examinations on or before the day of convocation, i.e. January 28, 2012, shall be sent to their respective colleges after the convocation ceremony is over.
 
Moreover, the degree certificates of the candidates, who have passed their examinations in the process of revaluation or RLE or RR, will be sent to their respective addresses in due course. The list of Degree / Diploma certificates with Convocation numbers of the candidates will be made available on the University's official website: http://www.mu.ac.in/
 
Candidates are advised to see the list and note down their respective convocation numbers which should be informed at their colleges while collecting their certificates. These convocation details (number etc.) will enable the college staff to find the certificates easily and distribute the same to the students concerned.
 
Candidates are also notified that the entry will be given to the invitees, medalists and the students those who are participating in the procession with prior permission only on showing the invitation card / letter at the entrance of the Convocation Hall, due to limited seats available in the Convocation Hall.
