Panjab University, Chandigarh, has invited applications from eligible candidates to register for PhD Entrance Test 2012. The test is being conducted in order to select eligible candidates for enrolment to PhD (Doctorate of Philosophy) programme in the Faculties of Arts, Design & Fine Arts, Engineering, Languages, Law and Science, in the session 2012.

How to Apply
Interested candidates are required to register themselves online by filling in the online application made available on the University's official website: http://puchd.ac.in/ or admission portal: http://admissions.puchd.ac.in/index.php?id=77. The direct link for the online application is: http://phdadmissions.puchd.ac.in/ or http://phdadmissions.puchd.ac.in/registration.htm. The fee (including entrance test fee) is Rs 1800 (for General category candidates) and Rs 900 (for SC/ST category candidates). The fee is to be paid through SBI Bank Challan (to be generated and downloaded from the website) at any SBI branch. The last date of submitting and completing online application formalities is July 7, 2012. For more detailed information about admission, eligibility criteria and application procedure, candidates are advised to visit the University’s aforementioned official website.
