Jai Narain Vyas University (JNVU), Jodhpur, has invited applications from eligible candidates to register for Pre Teacher Education Test 2012, also known as PTET. The exam is conducted by JNVU Jodhpur in accordance to the guidelines issued and approved by the Government of Rajasthan. The test is conducted in order to select eligible candidates for admission into B Ed (Bachelor of Education) programme offered in various Teacher Training Institutions in the state of Rajasthan, for the upcoming academic session 2012-13.

How to Apply
Interested candidates are required to apply online by filling in the online application by visiting the website: http://www.ptet2012.net/ or http://www.ptet2012.info/ or http://www.ptet2012.org/. The application / exam fee is Rs 400 which is to be paid in the form of bank challan (bearing the same online application number), which can be downloaded from the website. One can submit the challan in any designated CBS branch of Bank of Baroda, Punjab National Bank or IDBI Bank situated in Rajasthan, up to March 1, 2012 (till 3.00 pm). The last date to submit the online application and fee is March 1, 2012.
After successfully submitting the online application, candidates must take a printout of the application form. The duly acknowledged hardcopy / printout of the online application along with requisite enclosure documents should be submitted to any of the collection centers (list of collection centres is made available on the aforementioned website), latest by March 2, 2012 (till 5.00 pm).
