Calcutta University Notifies PhD in Law Admission 2013

Department of Law, University of Calcutta, Kolkata, West Bengal, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into PhD (Doctorate of Philosophy) programme in Law, to be offered in the ensuing session 2013. Admissions will be made on the basis of candidates' performance in the written examination and viva-voce, to be conducted by the University department.
 
Note: Candidates who have already passed JRF / NET / SET or equivalent or passed M Phil need not appear for the admission test but they are required to appear for the interview, to be conducted by the University.
 
Date of Exam
The written examination is scheduled to be held on March 9, 2013.

How to Apply
Interested candidates are required to download the prescribed application format, from the University’s official website: http://www.caluniv.ac.in/. The direct link to download the same is: http://www.caluniv.ac.in/admission%20notice/Form-Law.pdf. The application fee is Rs 100, which can be paid through a challan (obtainable from the University). The duly filled in application form, along with all the requisite documents (details given on the website), must be submitted to the office of the Department of Law (1st floor) Hazra Campus, Calcutta University, latest by March 8, 2013.
