Delhi University SOL Admission 2013 for UG Courses

Admissions to the undergraduate programmes at the School of Learning (SOL), Delhi University, are open till September 2, 2013 and both online and offline options are available to students. SOL conducts five undergraduate programmes — BA, BCom, BCom (Hons), BA (Hons) political science and BA (Hons) English literature.

Eligibility

BA and B.com Programme
40 per cent marks in pre-university exam recognized by University of Delhi.

B.A.[Hons] - Programme, English
At least 60% marks in aggregate in the Senior School Certificate Examination, Conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi

B.A.[Hons] - Programme, Political Science
At least 45% in the aggregate with Political Science in the Senior School Certificate Examination, Conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi

B.Com.[Hons]
55% in Aggregate, or 60% Aggregate of vocational/technical stream with commerce

Online admissions have made the admission process transparent. We have managed to create a database of students and because we are connected with the CBSE, NIOS, other major state boards, all information is verified through the computer , which doesn't allow ineligible or fraudulent students to take admission, says HC Pokhriyal, executive director, SOL.

For Delhi Students the demand draft must be issued from any branch of State Bank of India (SBI) payable at “Service Branch, State Bank of India, New Delhi. Outside students can pay through demand draft from any nationalized bank. The draft should be in favour of “The Executive Director, School of Open Learning, University of Delhi, Delhi.”
