JEE (Advanced) 2013 Online Registration Begins Today

The registration commences for the Indian Institutes of Technology’s Joint Engineering Exam (Advanced) 2013 from today i.e. on May 8, 2013. It is an admission test conducted for selecting eligible students for admissions into all IITs and ISM, Dhanbad. The registration is going to take place from May 8 to May 13, 2013. Eligible candidates can register at - http://jeeadvonline.iitd.ac.in/ or http://jeeadv.iitd.ac.in/.

As per sources, to appear for the JEE (Advanced) 2013, all eligible candidates are instructed to register themselves online at http://jeeadvonline.iitd.ac.in/ or http://jeeadv.iitd.ac.in/ between May 8 to 13 May, 2013. After the online registration, candidates are required to pay the registration fee in the form of a challan (generated during the registration process) of all State Bank of India branches having a core banking solution (CBS) by May 14, 2013.

The candidate will be able to pay the fees at the SBI branch a day after the online registration. The fee for GE and other backward classes (non-creamy layer) male candidates is Rs 1800. The fee for scheduled caste, scheduled tribe, persons with disabilities male candidates is Rs 900. There is no fee for female candidates of all categories. The registration will be considered to be complete only after the payment.

The JEE (Advanced) 2013 is scheduled to be held on June 2, 2013. All admissions, this year onwards, to the undergraduate programmes at all IITs and ISM, Dhanbad, will be on the basis of students score in the JEE (Advanced).

The eligibility for taking the JEE (Advanced) 2013 will be decided by the candidates’ score in the JEE (main) 2013, which is expected to be announced by May 7, 2013. Only the top 1, 50,000 candidates, including all categories, who qualify Paper 1 of JEE (main) 2013 will be considered eligible to appear the JEE (Advanced) 2013.
