New Delhi: Merit scholarships are announced to the engineering students of Delhi University (DU), by PT Education, providing training to students for MBA entrance and post 12th courses. The scholarship is announced with the aim of motivating brilliant and meritorious students to take up management education, after completing their graduation.
DU affiliated engineering colleges students with consistent outstanding academic performance in their college exams were eligible for the scheme. The total value of the scholarships stands at rupees 16 lakh. PT Education has more than 80 educational centers across the country, training more than 45000 students every year with a sterling success rate among CAT examinees. As per the records, CAT toppers for last five consecutive years have been from PT Education.
Sandeep Manudhane, Founder Chairman PT Education, said that the objective behind the scholarship scheme is to present a catalyst for the engineering students to opt for management education, as though technical education is within reach for most of aspirants; the same cannot be said about management. He also said that, technical education with management is yet to become accessible. Technology is the key to a safe future but management is the one which secures India and so management-tech combination is a key ingredient for a prosperous nation.
