New Delhi: Good news for students aspiring to join the English Hons programme at Delhi University (DU). Admission to English (H) is still open at DU’s four colleges - Swami Shradhanand College, Ram Lal Anand (evening), Satyawati (evening) and Zakir Hussain (evening).
Students will get admission to these colleges on the basis of the Combined Aptitude Test for English (CATE) scores. In the year 2009, DU conducted Combined Aptitude Test for English for the first time for selecting students for the English (H) programme offered at its 12 affiliated colleges. Students who have scored above 40 in CATE can visit the colleges and avail this opportunity.
DU apart form the admission into its various undergraduate programmes, will also announce the first admission list for M Sc courses in Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Anthropology, Geology, Environmental studies and Environmental Biology on Monday.
