The online registration for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2011 begins today, i.e. on September 21, 2010 (Tuesday). Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, also known as GATE, is an all India examination administered and conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science and seven Indian Institutes of Technology on behalf of the National Coordination Board - GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India.
Indian Institute of Technology Madras is designated as the organizing Institute for GATE 2011. GATE 2011 will be conducted in online as well offline mode.
