New Delhi: The Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) University has extended the last date of submission of application forms for admissions under Sports Category, according to a press release issued by the University. The last date of submission is now extended to June 23 2010 upto 4.00 pm for admission into various courses, offered in the upcoming session 2010.
The University selects the candidates under sports category on the basis of sports achievements and trials. The application forms can be collected from the Office of the Games & Sports, Jamia Millia Islamia on all working days. The final list of selected candidates will be displayed on the Notice Boards of the Office of the Games & Sports on July 21, 2010 at 5.00 pm. The admissions under Sports Category are now open in all professionals & non-professional courses except for those in Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Faculty of Architecture, Faculty of Dentistry and Centre for Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Science. Applications are invited from outstanding sportspersons in the games listed below:
Cricket, Boxing, Athletics, Volleyball, Shooting (Air Pistol, Air Rifle only) Football, Basketball, Table Tennis, Hockey, Badminton Tennis, Swimming, Weight Lifting/Power Lifting and other games.
