New Delhi: Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) University is going to host Malayalam Film Festival. The two-day film festival will start from Monday i.e. December 6, 2010. As per sources, the festival is being organized in partnership with 'Smriti'. Smriti is a cultural association of JMI students from Kerala, sources added.
Further, sources informed that the screening of movies in the festival will be held in the campus, from 12 noon to 6.00 pm. An official from the university said that the vision behind the film festival is to familiarize the students' community with the art and cinema coming out of Kerala. In the past too, the JMI had organized film festivals and other such events, official added.
