Lucknow: Lucknow University has enrolled country’s youngest matriculate, Sushma Verma, to pursue graduation. As per sources, Ms. Verma cleared Class 10th exams at the age of seven. Now, at the age of 10 she will pursue her graduation from University of Lucknow. On Tuesday i.e. December 28, 2010, the university authorities has approved the application and offered admission to this wonder kid.
Mr. Tej Bahadur, Ms. Verma's father said that he is thankful to the university authorities for being so considerate. Furthermore, he said that he is sure that with hard work and sincerity, his daughter will one day make the entire university administration proud. Mr. S K Dwivedi, Lucknow University spokesperson said that the country should encourage every talented girl like Sushma. He hopes with their decision the girl would inch closer to realize her dreams.
In addition, Mr. Bahadur said that the college authorities had categorically told them that they would allow Sushma to take her B Sc exams only if Lucknow University permits her for the same. Now, as the final decision has been taken, his daughter will sit in the exams and he is sure she would pass with flying colors, he added.
