Osmania University Campus Gets a Satellite Information Center for US Studies

Hyderabad: The prospective candidates of Osmania University Centre for International Programs can now learn information about several educational institutions in the United States, because a Satellite Information Centre (SIC) was opened on Tuesday i.e. March 23, 2010, at the University campus.
 
The Satellite Information Centre (SIC) was inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor of Osmania University T Tirupati Rao. The SIC is affiliated to the United States-India Educational Foundation (USIEF).
 
According to an official of Osmania University, the center will help in gathering accurate and free information regarding the different streams of educational institutions that are available to the Indian students, in the US. Furthermore, Satellite Information Centre (SIC) will be opened for six days a week and without costing anything. It will also impart reference material in all the features of higher level of education in the United States.
 
Osmania University was established in 1918 and it has been considered as one of the oldest modern universities in India. The University is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an ‘A’ Grade. It is fully funded and governed by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
