New Delhi: The three-day cultural festival at The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) University namely 'Aahvaan 2010’ commences from September 17, 2010. This year’s theme 'Towards zilch lifestyle' aims at promoting a zero waste lifestyle.
The University's Media Coordinator has said all the activities and events will in some way promote the idea of zero waste lifestyle. Besides, students of various colleges on Friday took part in events like photography competition, rangoli, face painting and games like kabaad se jugaad, where all the waste from college was recycled and put into use.
The opening day concluded with students dancing on various numbers, flaunting their black Aahvaan organic cotton t-shirts. As per sources, R.K. Pachauri, Chancellor of TERI, will interact with the students on Saturday (September 18, 2010).
