New Delhi: About five lakh aspirants have appeared for the Joint Entrance Examination of Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT-JEE) on Sunday, i.e. April 10, 2011, across the nation.
Total of 4,85,262 candidates appeared for the IIT - JEE 2011, which was held at 1,051 centres in 131 cities. As per sources, more than 9000 seats are available in the 16 IITs across the nation. The results of the entrance examination will be declared on May 25, 2011.
After appearing the exam students across various states had different opinions. Sources informed that the reaction of Delhi aspirants was mixed. While many felt that the Chemistry paper in the second part was very tough, others found it quite easy, saying that Mathematics was tough.
