All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has invited applications from eligible candidates for All India Post Graduate Medical / Dental Entrance Examination, popularly known as AIPGMEE, to be held in the ensuing session 2012. AIPGMEE is conducted for admission under 50% seats quota in various postgraduate (PG) MD/MS/Diploma & MDS courses in Medical and Dental Colleges across India, run by the Union of India, State Governments (except Government of Andhra Pradesh and J&K) and Municipal or other local authorities).

How to Apply
Interested candidates can apply online by visiting any of these AIIMS’s official websites: http://www.aiims.ac.in/, http://www.aiims.edu/, and http://www.aiimsexams.org/. Candidates applying online have to pay the application-cum-examination fees of Rs 1000 (Rs 800 for SC/ST candidates) through a challan form (download from internet while applying online) in any branch of State Bank of India (SBI). Transaction processing fee (as applicable) will be payable to the bank. After payment of the application fee, one must log onto http://www.aiimsexams.org/ and create an account with AIIMS. Follow the instructions and fill in the Unique Transaction Number/Journal Number, Branch Code and Deposit Date, mentioned on the Challan copy, in order to complete the online application. For further details regarding eligibility criteria, form filling details, and application procedure, candidates can visit any of the abovementioned websites of the Institute.
Note:
- Candidates are required to keep the Challan copies with them as proof of candidature.
- The AIIMS copy of the Challan form should be brought, along with the Admit Card, on the day of the entrance examination.
- Applications must be made Online ONLY through internet and should NOT be sent to AIIMS.
