AMU to Introduce Five New Distance Education Study Centers

Aligarh: Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is all set to introduce five new study centers of distance education, across different parts of the nation. These centers will offer distance education progarmmes for graduates as well as undergraduates.
 
According to the sources, AMU Vice Chancellor, Prof. P. K. Abdul Azis has given his approval for the establishment of the centers. These centres will be located at Saharsa, Bhagalpur and Muzaffarpur in Bihar, while the remaining two centres will be set up at Badaun and Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh.
 

In the same context, the Director of Distance Education, AMU, Mohd Rizwan Khan, said that the approval has been given without any financial commitment on the part of the University. He also informed that these centres will function under the supervision of the Centre for Distance Education.
