Calcutta University, Department of Chemistry, Kolkata, West Bengal, has invited applications for admission into Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) programme, to be offered in the ensuing session 2011. Admissions will be made on the basis of a written MCQ Examination scheduled to be held on the date mentioned below. Final selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of merits obtained in the written examination followed by an interview/counseling, to be held on February 22, 2011 at 3 pm. NET/SET/SLET/ GATE/Teacher Fellowship/equivalent examination qualified candidates or candidates pass in M Phil/M Tech/equivalent examination need not appear for the written examination.
