Department of Library & Information Science, University of Calcutta, popularly known as Calcutta University, Kolkata, West Bengal, has invited applications for admission into Master of Library & Information Science (MLIS) programme, to be offered in the ensuing session 2012-13. The course will commence from January 2012 and end in December 2013. Admissions will be made on the basis of merit obtained by the candidates in their last qualifying examination, along with reservation norms as prescribed by the University.

How to Apply
Interested candidates can obtain the application form from the University’s Sales Counter on cash payment of Rs 300. The duly filled in application form should be submitted at the Department of Library & Information Science, Asutosh Building 3rd Floor, College Street, Kolkata - 700073, on or before December 19, 2011 (11.00 am to 4.00 pm).
