Department of Radio Physics and Electronics, University of Calcutta, West Bengal, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into PhD (Doctorate of Philosophy) (Tech) against 30 vacant seats, to be offered in the upcoming session 2012. Admission will be made on the basis of candidates’ performance in the entrance test, followed by a Personal interview, to be conducted by the University.
Note:
- Candidates who have completed M Tech / M Phil or qualified in NET / SET / SLET / GATE / other equivalent examinations, need not appear for the written examination. However, they have to appear for the interview session.
- Candidates must note that admission into the PhD programme is not available with any financial support or scholarships.

How to Apply
Interested candidates can download the application form from the University’s official website: http://www.caluniv.ac.in/. The application fee is Rs 100 which is to be paid through a duly filled in CU Challan, endorsed by Head of the Department of Radio Physics and Electronics, University of Calcutta. The duly filled in application form along with the Challan should be submitted at the office of the department. For more information about the admission and application procedures candidates are requested to visit the University’s abovementioned official website.
