University of Calcutta, also known as Calcutta University, West Bengal, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into PhD (Doctorate of Philosophy) programme, to be offered in the session 2011. The course is being offered in the Department of Bengali Language and Literature. Admission will be made on the basis of candidate’s performance in the admission test, to be conducted by the University.
