Calcutta University, Department of Psychology, Kolkata (West Bengal), has invited applications for admissions into Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) programme, to be offered in the ensuing session 2011.Admissions will be made on the basis of an written test scheduled to be held on the date mentioned below followed by an interview. UGC (JRF) examination/NET/SET/SLET /Teacher Fellowship or equivalent examinations qualified candidates or candidates who have passed the M Phil in Psychology or equivalent examination are exempted from the written test.

How to Apply
Interested candidates can obtain the application form from the Department of Psychology, Calcutta University. Candidates desirous to pursue PhD programme must apply in the prescribed format by paying Rs 100 through a challan. Candidates can obtain the challan from Cash Counter in Raja bazaar Science College Campus and College Street Campus. The duly filled application form should be submitted in the Office of the Head of the Department.
