IGNOU to Introduce Six New Agricultural Course

New Delhi: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will launch six new agricultural courses.The courses have been launchedwith an objective to make farmers group self-sustainable across the country.
 
The newly launched agricultural courses are Post Graduate Diploma in Sustainability Science, Post Graduate Diploma in Food Science and Technology, Diploma in Watershed Management, Diploma in Horticulture, Diploma in Animal Husbandry and Masters in Agribusiness Management.
 
Prof M K Saluja, Director, School of Agriculture, IGNOU, said that courses are introduced to strengthen human resource in the field of agriculture along with increasing the sustainability and productivity. He also informed that three of these courses will be started by the next month while the rests will be started in a time period of two years.
