Indian Institute of Information Technology – Allahabad (IIIT - Allahabad) will organize its Fourth Science Conclave, commencing from November 26- December 2, 2011. The conclave is supported by Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) and Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India (GOI).
As per the sources, the conclave would provide a platform of interaction to the Nobel Laureated and eminent National and International Academicians, Scientists, Technologists and Industrialists with selected students, young teachers and researchers. The conclave intends to inspire and motivate them towards careers in Basis Sciences.
Students and budding scientists who haven’t attended previous Science Conclaves and wish to participate in the upcoming one, may contact their Institutional Heads as well as get their applications sponsored. The duly filled in application must be submitted to Science Conclave Secretariat, IIIT-Allahabad latest by September 10, 2011. In order to encourage young scientist and students IIIT-A will provide Rail fare to students up to AC-III Tier and to teachers up to AC-II Tier or actual fare whichever is less. Furthermore, the boarding & lodging on sharing basis will also be provided in Hostels/houses by the Institute.
