Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), Thiruvananthapuram, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into the following areas of PhD (Doctorate of Philosophy) programme, to be offered in the ensuing session commencing from January 2012. Admission will be made on the basis of candidates' performance in the written test, followed by an interview, to be conducted by the Institute.

How to Apply
Interested candidates can download the prescribed application form from the Institute’s official website: http://www.iist.ac.in/. The application fee is Rs 250 (Rs 125 for ST/SC candidates) which should be paid in the form of DD drawn in favour of the Registrar, IIST payable at Thiruvananthapuram. The duly filled in and completed applications, along with the DD and other requisite documents, should be sent to the The Administrative Officer, IIST, Valiamala Post, Thiruvananthapuram - 695547, latest by December 20, 2011. The application form should be sent in an envelope with the heading “Application for IIST PhD Programme”.
