The University Counseling & Guidance Centre, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) University has organized a workshop on “How to Choose the Right Career” today, i.e. on September 12, 2011 at 2.30 pm. The workshop was conducted by T.I.M.E. Education in the Committee Room of Nehru Guest House, Jamia.
According a press release issued by the University, the University Counseling and Guidance Centre at Jamia conducts weekly/fortnightly workshops, lectures, meetings, orientation programmes and counseling sessions to assist students in overcoming their personal, educational, vocational, social, and psychological problems and provides the necessary inputs required to complement the academic programmes at the University.
Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) University was originally established at Aligarh in United Provinces, India in the year 1920. It became a Central University by an act of the Indian Parliament in 1988 by a Special Act of the Parliament. The University has been offering courses in a multitude of disciplines.
