A solo exhibition titled “Lord of Majesty and Glory” was organized by Dr Seeme Murtaza, Associate Professor, Department of Art Education, Faculty of Fine Arts, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) University, New Delhi.
According to a press release issued by the University, the exhibition will be inaugurated by Mr Devesh Chaturvedi, Director General, Tourism, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, on September 2, 2011 at 05.30 pm and will be on view till September 5, 2011. Moreover, the press release informed that Dr Seemi Murtaza, teaches at Jamia and has participated in a number of group and individual shows.
Jamia Millia Islamia was originally established at Aligarh in United Provinces, India in the year 1920. It became a Central University by an act of the Indian Parliament in 1988 by a Special Act of the Parliament. It is one of the renowned universities offering best quality education in varied disciplines.
