The senior students at Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) University has organizes a Walking Tour of the campus for freshers today, i.e. on August 9, 2011.
The one-hour Walking Tour of the campus will start at 1.00 am from Gulistan-e-Ghalib, i.e. near Ghalib Statue on Main Campus, and will cover all the important landmarks on campus.
According to a press release issued by the University, the tour is organized for the freshers and newcomers who might be unfamiliar with the facilities available in the campus. Besides, the participants will walk on a guided tour to most of the buildings and sites on campus deemed noteworthy and important.
Furthermore, the release also mentioned that the student guides will try to answer any questions that the new entrants to the university might have.
