New Delhi: Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) University announces to offer ten new short term courses for those residing in its locality. The last date of application is May 10, 2011.
According to a statement issued by the University, the courses will be conducted by the department of Adult and Continuing Education and Extension. The duration of the courses will range from one to six months. The ten new short term courses on offer includes sewing and cutting, motor driving, wiring, beauty care, dress designing, textile designing and printing, repair of electric equipment, mobile repairing, soft toy making and computer skill development.
Furthermore, as per the statement, a very nominal fee will be charged for these courses. The pamphlets have been circulated out into the locality so that interested residents from nearby areas can contact the Department of Adult and Continuing Education and Extension. Besides, residents can come and visit the department from 10 am to 4 pm to gather information about the courses. Interested candidates may even call the department in the given number 26843940.
