Hyderabad: Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada (JNTUK) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with C R Rao Advanced Institute of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science (AIMSCS). As per sources, the MoU has been signed in order to conduct research projects, Doctoral and PG programmes in Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science. Further, sources informed that the two institutes have inked the MoU in the presence of JNTU Vice-Chancellor Professor Allam Appa Rao and Professor C R Rao.
Mr. Allam Appa Rao said on the occasion that with the signing of MoU, faculty, researchers and scientists of the two institutions may undertake joint research on topics of mutual interest in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Computational Genomics and other allied subjects. Further, he told the sources that grants received thought joint proposals will be shared based on effort and commitment and equivalent funds will be managed by respective institution.
