Hyderabad: Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU), Department of English, is convening the III National Conference from March 9, 2011. The two day national conference will conclude on March 10, 2011. As per sources, the conference will be held on New Directions in Comparative Literature.
Dr S M Haseebuddin Quadri, Head Department of English informed the sources that the inaugural ceremony of the conference will be held on March 9, 2011. He also told that Ms. Katherine Dhanani, Counsel General, US, Hyderabad will be the Chief Guest at the event.
In addition, Mr. Quadri told that Professor Afzal Khan from Dr Babasaheb Marathwada University, Aurangabad, will deliver the keynote address. Moreover, he informed the sources that in plenary session Professor Sudhakar Marathe and Professor Alladi Uma will deliver lectures. As per sources, the event will be presided by Professor Mohammed Miyan, while, Professor Amina Kishore will deliver the inaugural speech.
