Greater Noida: Today i.e. on April 11, 2011,Sharda University has organized a day-long Inter B-School Summit-2011, at the University Campus. Students over 30 b-schools across NCR actively participated in the day-long Summit, which was a joint initiative of Sharda University and University of Malta. Ms. Theresa Cutajar, H.E. High Commissioner of Malta in India graced the occasion. Also, she highlighted on the significance of summits such as the Inter B School Summit which serves as a platform for knowledge sharing among students from diverse backgrounds and different countries.
As per sources, the highlights of the summit were the two technical sessions Do, Dare, Dream: Raising the Bar and Discover the Leader Within You by International Motivational Speaker & Leadership Trainer – Mr. Simerjeet Singh and Expert on Intra and Inter Leadership Skills - Mr. Vikram Badhwar, respectively. The extremely pioneering and motivational session of Mr. Simerjeet Singh encouraged the young and motivated students to take responsibility of their life and unlock their hidden potential in order to become future global leaders.
Similarly, Mr. Vikram Badhwa’s session also gave an exclusive insight into unearth the many mysteries the human body is capable of. The students and faculty reveled in the energetic and inspiration sessions that were like a breeze of invigorating air amidst the regular academic curricula. Furthermore, while speaking on the occasion, Mr. Pradeep Kumar Gupta, Chancellor Sharda University, said that Sharda University takes pride in organizing Inter B School Summit- 2011 dedicated to discovering one’s hidden potential to reveal one’s leadership skills.
Furthermore, he added that today, the importance of the latter cannot be undermined be it any field. He said leadership is the quality, which demarcates a person from million others. It plays a pivotal role in the development of not only an individual but also an entire nation. Mr Gupta mentioned that we at Sharda are committed to raising leaders for tomorrow that take India forward in the 21st century.
