All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission into MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) course, to be offered in the ensuing session 2012. Admission to the course will be made on the basis of candidate’s performance in the entrance test, to be conducted by the Institute. The course is being offered in AIIMS including six new AIIMS like institutions at Bhubaneswar, Bhopal, Jodhpur, Patna, Raipur and Rishikesh for session 2012
Date of Exam
AIIMS Entrance Exam for MBBS is scheduled to be held on June 1, 2012 (Friday).

The entrance exam will be held at the following centers: Ahmedabad, Bangaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jammu, Jodhpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Patna and Raipur

How to Apply
Interested candidates are required to apply Online only by filling in the online application made available on AIIMS website: http://www.aiimsexams.org/. Before filling in the form, one must carefully read the prospectus which is also given in the website. The application fee is Rs 1000 (Rs 800 in case of SC/ST candidates). The application fee should be paid through a Challan Form (to be downloaded from internet while applying on-line), in any branch of State Bank of India. In addition, transaction / processing Fee as applicable will be payable to the Bank by the candidates. The last date to fill online application is April 2, 2012.
Note:
1. Those applying on April 2, 2012 on the last date of closing and are unable to deposit the fee on the same day must deposit fee in the designated Bank latest by two following working days (i.e. up to April 4, 2012) failing which their candidature will not be considered and no query / correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
2. The application for the above Entrance Examination will be considered only after confirmation of payment of fee from the concerned Branch of designated Bank to the Account holding Branch of AIIMS.
