New Delhi: University of Delhi, also known as Delhi University (DU), New Delhi, has decided to fast track the results of the ongoing semester examinations. This time, the results will be announced online which means students will not have to assemble at notice boards to view the results. In fact, this is the first time when DU will declare the results of over 1.2 lakh students, online.
Confirming the news, Dinesh Singh, Vice-Chancellor of DU, said that this time, the results will be fast tracked. Moreover, the results will positively be declared within 14 days of the completion of the exams. He also informed that the results of students will be uploaded on or before December 15 on the University’s official website: http://www.du.ac.in/.
Singh further added that as the results will be announced online, students will be supplied with their mark sheets as well. However, if a student wants a certified copy, he/she can get the principal’s stamp on the mark sheet after that, he concluded. As per sources, the entire system of evaluation and declaration of results has been revamped and will further be developed in the next series of examinations.
