Pantnagar: Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture & Technical Sciences, also known as GBPUAT, Pantnagar, Uttarakhand, has issued the first counseling schedule for UPMT 2012. The counseling schedule is published on the official website of the University: http://www.gbpuat.ac.in/.
As per the notification, the University will conduct the counseling on the below mentioned date(s) as per the marks secured by the candidates in the entrance test at Dehradun.
- July 9, 2012 (8.00 am to 4.00 pm) - registration and document verification of those candidates who have secured 131 marks and above.
- July 10, 2012 (10.00 am onwards) - seat allotment to those candidates who have secured 131 marks and above.
- July 11, 2012 (8.00 am to 4.00 pm) - registration and document verification of those candidates who have secured marks between 100 and 130.
- July 12, 2012 (10.00 am onwards) - seat allotment to those candidates who have secured marks between 100 and 130.
- July 13, 2012 (8.00 am to 4.00 pm) - registration and document verification of SC / ST / OBC candidates who have secured marks between 80 and 99 for MBBS / BDS programmes. The same will also be done for candidates (all categories) who have secured 99 and below marks for B Sc Nursing.
- July 14, 2012 (10.00 am onwards) - seat allotment to SC / ST / OBC candidates who have secured marks between 80 and 99 for MBBS / BDS programmes and 99 and below for candidates (all categories) for B Sc Nursing.
Further, candidates are advised to bring their all original documents (no affidavit or undertaking shall be considered) on the day of counseling. For the detailed list of documents, one can visit the abovementioned website of the University.
As per the University, counseling will be conducted to fill 85 seats of MBBS programme each at GMC Haldwani & GMC Srinagar, 50 seats of BDS programme each at Seema Dental College Rishikesh & Uttaranchal Dental College, Dehradun and 60 seats of Basic B Sc Nursing at State College of Nursing, Dehradun. In addition, apart from the abovementioned colleges, seats for MBBS and Nursing programmes are also available at private colleges for admission under government quota.
