GBTU to Organize 10th Convocation

Lucknow: The 10th convocation of Gautam Buddh Technical University (GBTU), formerly Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Uttar Pradesh, is scheduled to be held on January 5, 2013. The convocation ceremony will be held from 11.00 am to 1.00 pm at IET Campus, Sitapur Road, Lucknow. In addition, the convocation address will be delivered by Justice G.S. Sanghvi of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India. The ceremony is being held for students of B Tech / B Pharm / B Arch / BHMCT / MCA / MBA / M Tech / M Pharm / PhD who have passed out in 2012.
 
Students of the abovementioned courses who have secured 70% and above marks and all recipients of M Tech / M Pharm and PhD degrees are invited to attend the Convocation ceremony. In addition, recipients of Gold and Silver medals of the University are also requested to positively attend the convocation. PhD Degree holders and Gold and Silver medal awardees will receive their degrees / medals on the dais. However, the remaining eligible Undergraduate and Post Graduate students shall be conferred upon the degrees at their places in the Pandal through separate arrangement on this day.

Candidates who want to take part in the convocation ceremony are requested to register on the University’s aforementioned website latest by January 2, 2013. Moreover, registered students are also advised to report at the University on January 4, 2013 so that arrangements can be made accordingly.
