BSEH or HBSE was established in 1969 and started its operations with its headquarters in Chandigarh. In 1981, the Board's headquarters were shifted to its current location in Bhiwani. BSEH introduced relative grading, CCE (Continuous & Comprehensive Evaluation) in all board classes i.e. Middle, Secondary & Senior Secondary.
